At Piano for Schools our goals are three-fold

which are to benefit schools, students and working families. We enhance the school program by providing an extracurricular lunch-time activity which is independently administered and therefore puts no extra burden upon teaching staff. Learning the piano has proven benefits for students in other aspects of education such as maths and reading.  Piano for Schools is currently serving 130 students in six primary schools in Newcastle NSW. Holiday club activites are also available.

Students enjoy the social interaction
of learning in small groups and receive a comprehensive training in
all music styles, theory and musicianship. Using the latest and best teaching course, our team of enthusiastic  staff are committed to providing a thorough foundation for young students to enjoy creative repertoire and develp musical talent.

We understand that many families

are under pressure with after school activities for their children and that finding time for music lessons can be difficult.  We provide information for families to support their children's progress at home and encourage families to attend our Annual Concert and Presentation Ceremony, where medals are awarded to every child for their work and commitment throughout the year.
